Director Quality Assurance IT Why Join Our TeamIts an exciting time to join us as we continue to expand and modernize our Quality Assurance practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions for our business systems Youll have the chance to lead a dynamic team drive innovation in testing strategies and make an impact on how we enable Mimecasts success through digital transformation Hiring ManagerMimecast is a global leader in enterprise information management and protection As we continue to grow we are building a world-class Quality Assurance organization to support our IT systems and business applications ensuring seamless operations across platforms like NetSuite Salesforce Workday and a variety of other systems This role is a unique opportunity to lead shape and inspire both manual and automation testing teams ensuring that every feature enhancement and change we deliver meets the highest standards of quality reliability and performance What Youll Do As the Director of Quality Assurance in IT you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the quality assurance function and leading a team of skilled QA professionals Your responsibilities will include Leadership Team Management Provide strategic direction and leadership to both manual and automation testing teams fostering a culture of collaboration innovation and accountability Mentor and develop team members empowering them to grow their skills and deliver exceptional results Recruit retain and inspire top QA talent to build a high-performing team Quality Assurance Strategy Define implement and continuously improve QA strategies methodologies and best practices to ensure thorough coverage and efficiency Establish key performance indicators KPIs and metrics to measure and report on software quality and team performance Drive the adoption of automation testing frameworks and tools to accelerate test cycles and improve coverage Collaboration Stakeholder Engagement Partner with cross-functional teams including Business Systems Engineering Product Management Data Integration Operations and Business Analysis to ensure seamless integration of QA processes Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders providing insights risk assessments and recommendations to ensure smooth project delivery Advocate for quality at every stage of the SDLC from requirements gathering to production deployment Testing Tools Oversee the testing of all business systems and applications including but not limited to NetSuite Salesforce and other business systems Ensure comprehensive test coverage across functional regression integration and performance testing Lead the evaluation and implementation of QA tools and technologies to enhance team productivity and effectiveness Foster innovation by staying up to date with the latest trends and advancements in QA tools techniques and methodologies Operational Excellence Ensure QA processes are scalable efficient and aligned with Mimecasts growth and technology strategy Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and eliminate inefficiencies Develop and maintain documentation including test plans test cases and reports to ensure transparency and traceability Proactively identify and mitigate risks ensuring smooth and timely delivery of IT solutions What Youll Bring Proven Leadership Experience Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire QA teams with a track record of success managing both manual and automation testing teams Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and foster a culture of collaboration Extensive QA Expertise Deep understanding of quality assurance principles methodologies and tools Experience designing and implementing automation frameworks and driving adoption within teams Strong knowledge of testing strategies for business systems such as NetSuite Salesforce and other similar business systems Technical Proficiency Hands-on experience with automation tools e g Selenium Virtuoso TestNG or similar and scripting languages Familiarity with CI CD pipelines and integration of QA processes into DevOps workflows Solid understanding of cloud environments and modern software development practices Analytical Problem-Solving Skills Ability to assess complex systems and identify areas for improvement in quality and performance Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results Adaptability Growth Mindset A proactive and adaptable approach to challenges with a willingness to embrace new tools technologies and methodologies Passion for continuous learning and professional development What We Bring Mimecast offers formal and on the job learning opportunities maintains a comprehensive benefits package that helps our employees and their family members to sustain a healthy lifestyle and importantly -
