Role Deputy General Manager - Operations FLN Chennai Bangalore Experience 12 years Salary Up to 25-30 LPA Language Tamil is required Roles Responsibilities Operational Excellence Prioritize and scale up programs to achieve objectives Identify key activities and action plans based on the Foundation s Mission and Values Establish and maintain systems for monitoring and measuring operational management and development Report to the President on operational issues opportunities and budgets Strategic Planning and Organizing Design implement and communicate a strategy for operational management and program development Oversee the day-to-day operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity Manage operational performance metrics and dashboards Implement innovative technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency Financial Budget and Control Manage the program and operational aspects of the annual budget in conjunction with the Finance Department Work closely with the finance team to manage the organization s budget and financial resources Relationship Management Ensure productive relationships are maintained with internal and external stakeholders including donors Ensure the timely submission of performance reports to donors Knowledge and Skills Demonstrated skills in leading diverse work teams and implementing organization-wide processes across a broad geography Broad knowledge and experience in policy development project management and people management in a large-scale organization Outstanding interpersonal skills including excellent oral and written communication Familiarity with change management Entrepreneurial and innovative approaches to opportunity development Strong problem-solving and creative skills A results-oriented person passionate about making a real impact Willingness to travel approximately 40 of the time Must possess excellent verbal and written skills in English and Tamil Qualification Experience Education MBA or postgraduate in Development or a similar advanced degree from a reputed institution Experience Minimum of 12 to 15 years of relevant experience with progressive leadership exposure At least 8 to 10 years of experience in a predominantly supervisory position with a growth-oriented organization Candidates with experience in the not-for-profit sector will be preferred - Hiring Note Applications will be reviewed on rolling basis This job is first posted on Sept 1 2025 on For any questions or status update ping us on WhatsApp Chat helpline 91 8058331557
