Job Description About the job Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (XIME) is a leading B School founded in 1991 and has institutions in Bangalore, Kochi and Chennai. We have helped 5000+ students to be successful business leaders and entrepreneurs. The primary objective of this role is to strengthen the connection between XIME and recruiting organizations. As the Placement Manager, you will be responsible for student placements across all three XIME campuses: Bangalore, Kochi, and Chennai. Your pivotal role involves cultivating relationships with companies and ensuring successful student placements. Responsibilities 1. Employer Engagement :Cultivate and maintain relationships with a diverse range of employers to understand their hiring needs and preferences. Actively seek out new partnership opportunities with companies, organizations, and industry stakeholders. 2. Networking and Outreach :Represent the institution at career fairs, industry events, and networking forums to promote placement opportunities and build partnerships. Collaborate with academic departments, alumni networks, and other stakeholders to leverage resources and expand placement opportunities for students. 3. Student/Candidate Support :Providing guidance and support to students in resume writing, interview preparation and career planning. To understand students expectation and share feedback from industry. Qualifications - Knowledge of market trends and industry requirements - Excellent networking and relationship-building skills - Strong understanding of education-to-employment transitions - Excellent writing, speaking and persuasion skills. - Solid experience with digital media including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc. - Ability to work effectively in a team and individually. - XIME being a PG Institute, Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
