Sr. Production Engineer

Job Title Senior Production EngineerLocation Kuche7 Manufacturing Facility Bhiwandi Department Production Reports To Factory HeadRole Overview The Senior Production Engineer will oversee daily production activities ensuring smooth operations quality output and adherence to safety standards The role requires strong technical expertise in steel modular furniture manufacturing hands-on shop floor management and coordination across departments to drive productivity efficiency and continuous improvement Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise the production team to achieve daily weekly and monthly targets Plan schedule and monitor production to ensure timely delivery as per customer requirements Optimize manpower machines and material utilization to minimize downtime and waste Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate with QC R D and Paint teams to ensure product quality and compliance with standards Troubleshoot technical issues in machines processes and workflow Ensure compliance with EHS Environment Health Safety guidelines and company policies Train and mentor junior engineers supervisors and operators for skill development Prepare daily weekly monthly production reports and present to Factory Head Management Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality Required Skills Competencies Strong knowledge of steel fabrication welding machining and assembly processes Experience in modular furniture or sheet metal industry preferred Proficiency in production planning process improvement and resource management Knowledge of lean tools 5S Kaizen Kanban TPM will be an advantage Excellent problem-solving leadership and team management skills Strong coordination and communication across departments Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Qualifications Experience B E B Tech in Mechanical Production Industrial Engineering or related field 5-8 years of experience in production preferably in steel modular furniture or sheet metal industry Hands-on exposure to ERP systems production scheduling and quality systems Job Type Full-time Pay 40 000 00 - 50 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Health insurance Paid time off Provident Fund Education Bachelor s Preferred Location Bhiwandi Maharashtra Preferred Work Location In person
