Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager- Lead Consultant - Data Quality Tester with Automation skills

We are looking for a skilled Senior QA Engineer with expertise in test automation, API testing, data quality assurance to join our agile team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with GCP and have proficiency in Python for automation tasks. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and executing automation tests, ensuring the quality and integrity of the data, and working in BDD environment to design and execute test cases.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross functional teams in an agile environment to ensure high quality software delivery.

Design, develop and maintain BDD test cases using Karate API test automation and other frameworks.

-
Perform API testing, ensuring robust and scalable integration of services.

Work with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) to validate and verify cloud-based solutions.

Create, maintain, and optimize Python-based test scripts for automation.

Perform data quality testing, ensuingthe accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data.

Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure test coverage and continuous improvement in the testing process.

Troubleshoot and debug issues in collaboration with development teams, providing detailed report on bugs and failures.

Ensure continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines integrate with automated testing solutions.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications

-
Proven experience in API testing and automation using tools like Karate, postman or similar.

-
Strong Python programming skills for test automation.

Experience with GCP services and tools.

-
Expertise in BDD test case design and tools like Cucumber, Behave or similar.

Solid understanding of data quality testing principles and practices.

-
Hands on experience in an agile development environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Excellent communications skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Prior experience in a consulting role or client-facing environment is highly desirable.

Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or equivalent are a plus.
