Job Description Job Purpose (State in one sentence the overall objective of the job) To lead and embed a culture of continuous improvement across Alcon Global Services (AGS) functions using Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Change Management and Project Management methodologies, leveraging technology such as Process Intelligence, Power Automate, Business Intelligence, RPA, Gen AI, Agentic AI etc. This role drives operational excellence, simplification, and transformation to enhance service delivery, efficiency, and customer experience. Major Accountabilities (Describe the main results of the job to be achieved ) - Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities across AGS functions such as Finance, HR, Procurement, IT, Quality & Regulatory Affairs, R&D Operations, and Supply Chain etc. - Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives or projects that deliver measurable business impact through process redesign, simplification, and automation. - Design and deliver Lean Six Sigma training programs across certification levels. - Facilitate Kaizen and process improvement workshops to foster a mindset of innovation and agility. - Establish governance frameworks, cadence, and KPIs to monitor and sustain CI culture and initiatives - Provide coaching and mentoring to teams or CI project leads in executing CI projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. - Collaborate with IT and transformation teams to deploy tools such as low cost or low code automation tools, Tableau, RPA, AI etc. as needed, to streamline operations and reduce manual effort - Lead and deploy the AGS Service Management Practice initiatives / projects to improve the service delivery - Lead and deliver the assigned strategic transformation projects to help achieve the overall enterprise transformation goals Key Performance Indicators - Delivery of CI projects with measurable impact (e.g., cost savings, cycle time reduction, quality improvement). - Increase in CI maturity and capability across the center. - Stakeholder satisfaction and improved service experience. - Contribution to strategic transformation program / projects Minimum Desirable Education: University Degree Masters degree Minimum Desirable Experience requirement: - Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in Shared Services industry with minimum 3 to 5 years in Continuous Improvement domain - Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified - Should have delivered L6S training - minimum Green Belt level - Should have L6S project coaching experience up to minimum Green Belt level - Deep understanding of shared services operations esp. Finance, HR, IT, Procurement etc. - Practical knowledge of tools such as Celonis, BI, RPA, Power Automate, Gen AI / Agentic AI etc. - Experience in the Pharma domain is a plus - Experience in working with Commercial, Sales, Manufacturing is a plus Languages: - Excellent English both spoken and written Specific Professional Competencies: Indicate any other soft/technical/professional knowledge and skills requirements - Industry knowledge - Shared Services - Certifications Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified - Good knowledge of process automation solutions Low code automation tools, RPA, BI, Process Intelligence, Gen AI, Agentic AI etc. - Project management knowledge desirable PMP or Agile, Scrum methodologies - Ability to influence without authority and collaborate across all levels. - Demonstrate excellent Business acumen, project management, verbal and written communication skills - Stakeholder management, influencing, analytics, presentation and change management skills - Applications: MS Office proficiency, Minitab, Visio, Tableau / Power BI ATTENTION: Current Alcon Employee/Contingent Worker If you are currently an active employee/contingent worker at Alcon, please click the appropriate link below to apply on the Internal Career site.
