Assistant Manager – Program Management

Centum’s unique microelectronics capability enables the development of lightweight, high-reliability electronics for onboard applications. What You'll Do (Job Role) 1. Responsible to manage the program of products through the whole life cycle; to ensure the agreed parameters of the individual program is achieved. 2. Responsible for managing the project schedules, project’s budget, monitoring expenditure and costs against the set target for each purchase order and optimise the project’s cost by taking all necessary proactive actions to mitigate the project management risk, resolving issues, and initiating appropriate corrective action. 3. Responsible for total project management with defense, space & aerospace customer /segment. 4. Responsible to work as a single point contact /interface between customer, quality agencies and internal team at Centum from the date of order receipt. 5. Responsible to interact with respective stake holder within design and outside design along with interaction with customer for clarification and approval. 6. Responsible to implement best Program management practices including Project Risk Management. 7. Responsible to initiate actions and management interventions wherever gaps in the program are identified or issues arise. 8. Responsible to prepare and maintain the Project Dashboard & Configuration plan for all design projects. 9. Responsible to send the project status report to customer and internal stake holder for all design projects. 10. Responsible to have regular project meeting with internal stake holder for all design projects and circulate the MOM of each meeting and track the same activities. 11. Responsible to develop brief understanding/knowledge/working/end application/processes etc. about each project. Who You Are: - 10+ years working experience in project management for executing the projects for Defense, Space, and Aerospace sectors. - Should be certified professional in Project Management - Management experience is preferred. - Basic financial knowledge / understanding - Good knowledge of key issues of Defence and Space industry - Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills along with effective presentation and negotiation abilities. - Competent in managing a large team consisting of Manager/Asst. Manager/senior engineers/Engineer and technicians to achieve the effective execution of project. - Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling programmes and approvals skills - Good skill of MS Office & MS Projects Educational Background： - BE/B Tech in Electronics & Communications / Electrical and Electronics - Any other additional qualification associated with Program Management Work Location: Bangalore, Yelahanka New Town
