Quality Assurance Manager

Position: Manager - Quality Assurance. Experience: 20 to 25 years. Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/Diploma -Electrical & Electronics. Preferred: Minimum 5 years in a managerial role. Roles & Responsibilities: - To prepare the quality plans, test procedures & relevant work instructions for the raw material inspection specified in the BOM. - Allocation of priority incoming inspection to the inspectors. - Authorisation of the GRNs. - Follow up with Stores for receipt of GRNS & discrepancy. - Meetings with vendors in-house and on-site, Quality issues. - Ensuring that necessary tests are conducted to meet quality requirements. - Allocating priority of dispatches & despatches quantity to Inspectors. - Planning with marketing for daily dispatches. - Attending to the internal quality issues of the product if any. - Empowered to stop the process or product or service provision in case of quality or safety requirements. - Resolving the quality issues of the product before despatch. - Clearing of Order forwarding note indicating the latest revision status & issues if any. - Preparation of the Agenda for the quality meeting & organise the meeting as per plan. - Preparation of minutes of a quality meeting. - Preparation of the Annual plan for Internal Quality Audit. - Preparation of a schedule for the Internal Quality Audit. - Preparation of guidelines for Internal Quality Audit. - Organise Internal Quality audits as per the schedule. - Coordinating with all departments & amending the documents if any, for closure of NCs. - Preparation of Agenda for Management Review Meeting. - Organise the meeting as per plan & preparation of minutes of the Management Review Meeting. - Preparation of the Master list of Equipment’s for calibration. - Organise equipment’s for calibration as per the schedule. - Analysis of customer complaints. - Implementation of corrective actions & follow-up on corrective actions for closing customer complaints. - Analysis of in-house product non-conformances. - Preparation of Quality reports of Vendors. - Preparation of Quality reports of Final product inspection. - Preparation of departmental objective analysis. - Updating of the Quality manual. - Updating of the Quality system procedure as per the departmental procedure. - Updating of Quality system formats as per the department requirements - Getting product certification to UL & CSA & setting system for routine audit. - Getting the company to meet the EHS & quality requirements of the customer & facing the related audits. - Handling all other activities of the Management Representative, including liaising with external auditors. - Getting the company to meet the Aerospace Standards and implement it. - Getting the company to meet the IATF & IRIS and implement it. - Coordinating with the production to meet the customer's requirements. - ISO: 9001-2015 Procedure & CRM/SAP update. Desired Profile: - Candidate should possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills. - Highly skilled in conducting market research & data mining using various platforms. Required Skills: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Passionate about meeting new people and sharing ideas. - Good command of MS tools (Word, PPT, Excel, etc). - Good presentation and creativity skills. - Well-versed in ERP & CRM (SAP or similar).
