Sugarcane Factory Sales Manager

Job Description Job Summary Directly engages with sugar factories, cooperatives, farmers, and local influencers to generate leads, sign MoUs and LoAs, and drive farmer adoption of the KhetPe app. Responsible for building strong farmer relationships, executing demos, and ensuring smooth field activation. Strong network with sugarcane farmers and factories is a must. Roles & Responsibilities - Liaising with sugar factories for KhetPe App and Agri insurance. - Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and farmer onboarding targets within the territory. - Identify and qualify relevant sugar factories and cooperatives; build relationships and pitch KhetPe solutions. - Conduct discovery calls to assess farmer base, acreage, and turnover associated with sugar factories. - Drive MoU and LoA signings with sugar factories and coordinate with Regional Sales Manager for escalations. - Plan and execute farmer gatherings for app demonstrations and enrollment events. - Ensure high adoption of KhetPe app features by enrolled farmers; provide feedback on user challenges. - Maintain strong rapport with farmers, sugar factory leaders, and community stakeholders. - Implement marketing and engagement programs (field demos, WhatsApp outreach, micro-events). - Ensure CRM usage for pipeline tracking, reporting, and forecasting. - Collect structured market intelligence and competitor insights for Regional Sales Manager. Candidate Profile & Skill Requirements Experience: - 36 years in agri-input/agri-tech sales, rural distribution, or farmer outreach roles. - Hands-on experience in engaging with farmers and sugar factories. - Prior exposure to precision agriculture or agri-digital tools is preferred. Core Skills: - Strong relationship building with farmers and sugar factory leaders. - Capability to explain agri-tech solutions in local languages. - Ability to run field demos, farmer gatherings, and app onboarding sessions. - Good knowledge of agri-input channels and rural networks. - Comfort with CRM systems and reporting discipline.
