Job Profile

- Head of Sales & Marketing of products like MS Billets, DRI & Iron Ore Pellets
- Responsible for sales budget, marketing strategy, and fund collection as per target
- Administrative head of all commercial contracts & purchases including stores and secondary sales
- Focus on cost optimization and sustainable cost reduction in commercial contracts across the plant
- Conduct system study & improvements to ensure transparency and internal control in operations
- Raw material plant feeding, storage, and inventory management
- Reclamation and sorting of refractory material from used/rejected lots
- Handled import-related issues including Advance Licence, DEPB, Duty Assessment, port clearance, and logistics
- Managed secondary sales including sale of used refractories
- Independently handled vessel load export of Iron Ore Fines from Port
- Well-versed with commercial laws and Companies Act for commercial interpretations
- Reviewed and vetted commercial terms of orders including payment terms, BGs, discounts, and commissions
- Participated in coal block e-auction, evaluation, and bidding
- Involved in project contract finalization and import procurements
- Oversaw insurance for assets, directors liability, Mediclaim, GPA, etc.
- Initiated and introduced contract ideas with OEMs
- Participated in FSA coal linkage auctions, iron ore mine auctions, and scrap sales
- Handled auctions like ILC, FLC, LCBD; occasionally involved in supply chain affairs
- Coordinated agreements with railway and port authorities
- Managed in-plant railway siding operations, material handling & feeding operations
- Oversaw captive iron ore mine contract management and logistics (road & rail)
