Job Description About The Role We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Juniper Networks technologies and solid knowledge of routing, switching, and security, along with troubleshooting. The role involves managing large-scale, mission-critical network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Experience with protocols like BGP, OSPF, and technologies such as load balancing and network monitoring tools is essential What You'll Do - Design, implement, and support Juniper-based network infrastructure (QFX/EX Series switches, MX Series routers) CISCO L2 and L3 Network Layer. - Configure and optimize BGP routing policies for both transit providers and private peering sessions, ensuring high availability and route stability. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex routing and switching issues across data centers. - Configure, maintain, and optimize network protocols (BGP, VLANs, OSPF, VRRP, Virtual chassis, VXLAN, MC_LAG, ICCP, and good to have - MPLS, VXLAN, EVPN). - Ensure network security and compliance, including firewall and VPN management. - Work closely with ISPs, vendors, and internal teams to resolve escalated issues. - Proactively monitor network performance and drive capacity planning. - Participate in on-call rotation for high-priority incidents (P1/P2). - Drive network performance optimization through continuous monitoring, tuning, and capacity management. - Lead and execute complex network migrations, upgrades, and technology refresh projects with minimal downtime. - Maintain thorough documentation, change records, and operational runbooks for all network infrastructure components. We'd Love For You To Have - 5+ year's experience in Juniper/ Cisco/ Nexus/ Arista Network technology in corporate and data centre infrastructure. - 5+ years of hands-on experience with Juniper QFX, EX, and MX series platforms, including QFX10008, QFX5100/5120, MX304, and MX10008 in production environments. - Strong expertise in routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF,VPC,MPLS,VRRP/HSRP,STP/RSTP,DNS,LACP,VTP,VLAN,IPSEC, TACACS+/AAA+ authentication.),Hands-on expertise in firewall platforms, including Palo Alto and Fortinet Firewall (1000D, 1500D,2200E), with strong focus on IPSec VPNs, MFA integration, NAT, and advanced security policies. - Experience in Layer 2 & Layer 3 networking. - Solid troubleshooting skills using CLI, logs, and monitoring tools. - JNCIA/JNCIP/JNCIE (SP/ENT), CCNP/CCIE, or equivalent multi-vendor expertise. - CCNA/CCNP Data Centre or equivalent certifications are an advantage. - Strong knowledge of IPV4/IPv6, design, security, and flow-based technologies. Good to have for AI/Network Automation Proficiency - Added Advantage. - Network automation technology : Python/ansible/Network scripting, APSTRA, Cisco ACI - Strong foundation in Python for writing automation scripts. - Collecting and cleaning network telemetry, SNMP, syslog, NetFlow/IPFIX, sFlow. - Working with time-series data for trend analysis. - Juniper Mist AI (AI-driven WLAN & WAN troubleshooting). - Cisco DNA Center + AI/ML Insights. - Arista Cognitive Campus. Qualification Should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent degree from a well-known institute/university.
