Company DescriptionVisa is a world leader in payments and technology with over 259 billion payments transactions flowing safely between consumers merchants financial institutions and government entities in more than 200 countries and territories each year Our mission is to connect the world through the most innovative convenient reliable and secure payments network enabling individuals businesses and economies to thrive while driven by a common purpose - to uplift everyone everywhere by being the best way to pay and be paid Make an impact with a purpose-driven industry leader Join us today and experience Life at Visa Staff Site Reliability Engineer in Application Production Support Level 2 Engineer is part of a team responsible to provide successful implementation and management of Visa services applications under Digital Developer Products in the Sandbox and production environments Ensuring the service meets the corporate quality security and compliance standards and providing the documentation for the ongoing support and maintenance of the systems Roles and responsibilities Responsible for providing 24X7 Application Support across multiple visa applications Responsible for applying code and operation break fixes and other proactive maintenance activities to keep the services up and running and automation Responsible for evaluating the Issues reported by Visa clients and members and providing ongoing solutions Responsible for managing the performance and tuning of several Visa applications Will be responsible for managing the service and ticket SLAs and managing the workflow to achieve the SLAs Will be responsible for keeping up the availability and security of the application and handling issue bridges and triaging This is a hybrid position Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager QualificationsBasic Qualifications - 8 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor s Degree or at least 6 years of work experience with an Advanced degree e g Masters MBA JD MD or 4 years of work experience with a PhD OR 8 years of relevant work experience Preferred Qualifications Having 8 years of IT experience with expertise in Java Applications tech support along with DevOps CI CD and Automation exp Good experience in Java-based web applications Implementing CI CD process Expertise in Trouble shouting on java applications in Tomcat services and Web application in Apache Ability to build deployment build scripts and automated solutions using scripting languages such as Shell scripting Bash Java Script Python Other Ability to work as team player Good written and communication skills Great with problem solving and troubleshooting Ability to effectively prioritize and coordinate Ability to learn fast and implement latest technology trends in the Industry Good understanding of CI CD technologies Core Skills on Cloud Kubernetes Dockers Linux windows DevOps experience with Jenkins Ansible Docker Kubernetes Participated in release level discussions and gone through the total SDLC and Agile methodology Support On-Call for all Ops activities Additional InformationVisa is an EEO Employer Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race color religion sex national origin sexual orientation gender identity disability or protected veteran status Visa will also consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with EEOC guidelines and applicable local law
