Way of working In Office - Employees will work full-time from their base location i e BangaloreAbout SwiggySwiggy is India s leading on-demand delivery platform with a tech-first approach to logistics and a solution-first approach to consumer demands With a presence in 500 cities across India partnerships with hundreds of thousands of restaurants an employee base of over 5000 a 2 lakh strong independent fleet of Delivery Executives we deliver unparalleled convenience driven by continuous innovation Built on the back of robust ML technology and fuelled by terabytes of data processed every day Swiggy offers a fast seamless and reliable delivery experience for millions of customers across India From starting out as a hyperlocal food delivery service in 2014 to becoming India s leading on-demand convenience platform today our capabilities result not only in lightning-fast delivery for customers but also in a productive and fulfilling experience for our employees xe2x80x8bAbout B2B business Swiggy acquired Lynk is a leading tech-driven distributor we do distribution to large FMCG companies It is present in Chennai Hyderabad Mumbai Ahmedabad Bangalore Delhi Kolkata We re on an ambitious journey to redefine urban goods distribution The role is for B2B distribution business Key responsibilities include Long term strategic Planning preparing managing the quarterly annual operating plan Budgeting and forecasting MIS and Financial reporting setting up process control Operational Financial metrics analysis etc The successful candidate will be strategic analytical and have demonstrated the ability to effectively manage the finances of a high-growth business Finance partner to business team Evaluate the commercial proposal of category margins construct the proposal and lead the pack for negotiation Drive targets with Business teams and help them with gap analysis and improvement plans Cost savings Work closely with the operation managers to drive down inefficient costs and optimize for steady state costing Also setting up necessary processes control for achieving sustainable optimal cost Facilitate financial review meetings with business groups and work with business managers to ensure effective finance and cost management - Recommendations based on data analysis and follow through with business leaders on actionable items for improving metrics Perform financial reporting ad-hoc business analysis and financial modeling Manage the financial planning and analysis effort using the key input levers to the business Automation of reporting and familiarity with Business Intelligence tool Desired Skills - 4-7 Years of experience post qualification Master s in Business - Finance Strategy or CA is preferred Strong interpersonal skills ability to work with and influence cross functional teams Knowledge of SQL is preferred Self-starter who can take ownership of deliverables with minimal direction and develop new ways of approaching business problems Continuous improvement attitude and fast learning ability Excellent verbal and written communication skills We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regards to race color religion sex disability status or any other characteristic protected by the law
