Role Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Junior/Mid-Level Backend Developer to join our growing engineering team. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining highly available and scalable backend systems that power mission-critical applications. Working within an Agile framework, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, performant, and maintainable software solutions. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Golang. - Work with MongoDB and MySQL to build efficient and secure data models. - Implement caching and data optimization strategies using Redis. - Integrate with messaging systems like RabbitMQ (or other broker platforms). - Write and consume REST APIs and services - Deploy, monitor, and scale applications on AWS infrastructure. - Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and frontend teams to ensure smooth development cycles. - Follow Agile methodologies and participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives. - Manage and version control code using GitHub and follow CI/CD best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications - 25 years of hands-on backend development experience. - Strong proficiency in Golang. - Solid experience with MongoDB (or other NoSQL DBs) and MySQL (or similar relational databases). - Working knowledge of Redis and RabbitMQ (or other message brokers). - Proficient in Rest API design (knowledge of Protobuf and gRPC is a plus). - Experience deploying and scaling applications on AWS. - Familiarity with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Nice to Have - Exposure to PHP, Node.js or React. - Basic frontend development experience. - Knowledge of scripting languages for automation and tooling. - Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization.
