Description Presidio Where Teamwork and Innovation Shape the Future At Presidio we re at the forefront of a global technology revolution transforming industries through cutting-edge digital solutions and next-generation AI We empower businesses and their customers to achieve more through innovation automation and intelligent insights The Role Presidio Networked Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Network Engineer to execute a strategic vision for delivering value add customized Operational Support Services to our customers and constituents This is an onsite position supporting diverse networking technologies across a fast paced and constantly evolving organization This is a challenging role with the expectation for the highest level of service delivery You will fulfill a critical role on our team and interact with and support senior network engineers Presidio is seeking to hire Lead Engineer with Network and Wireless background Presidio Networked Solutions Inc is on the leading edge of a technology-driven movement to transform the way business is done for our customers and our customers customers Joining Presidio means immersing yourself in a culture of self-starters collaborators and innovators who make real lasting change in the marketplace via cutting-edge technology and business solutions At Presidio we know that it s our people that make the connections happen Top Skills 8 years of core networking skills performing route switching Advanced level understanding of load balancing technologies Ability to provide tier 3support of networking technologies such DHCP DNS and firewalls Responsibilities Include Operational Support Services Sr Network Engineer Act in a network engineering role on a team providing 24x7x365 operational support of a large heterogeneous network Collaborate with network architects to design and implement functional company networks Provide feedback to improve existing architecture to deliver a scalable highly reliable network Managing and mentoring junior Network Engineering staff Delegating networking maintenance tasks to junior staff Delegating networking maintenance tasks to junior staff Act as escalation point for the resolution execution of incidents service requests changes Troubleshoot and resolve network related performance issues Log all customer interactions filling out detailed information in tickets and document resolutions Contribute to documented process improvements Coordinate support activities with multiple user departments and internal teams as well as third party vendors Build and maintain positive constructive partnering relationships with the client community Responsible for maintaining various network projects with our client base Interact with all levels of clients supporting all aspects of infrastructure technology in their environment Participate in afterhours maintenance windows Participate in an on-call rotation schedule Stay current with latest trends in technology and the management and integration of those technology Required Skills and Professional Experience Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience required Minimum of 5 years experience in supporting a complex network environment Managed Services experience preferred Entrepreneurial spirit self-motivated and customer focused mindset essential Highly organized with concentrated attention to detail preferred Proven track record working in a team environment and independently Ability to manage a number of simultaneous activities while demonstrating accountability Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills with quick adaptation to change Solid communication and interpersonal skills -
