Job Description Logistics Sales Specialist (Field Job) Position: Logistics Sales Specialist Department: Sales & Business Development Location: Pan India Company: Moover India (Moover Logistics Pvt. Ltd.) Role Overview We are seeking a highly driven and performance-oriented Logistics Sales Specialist to accelerate business growth across our transportation, warehousing, and supply chain service verticals. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, existing network connections, and a deep understanding of operational logistics, route planning, and client requirement analysis. This role demands a strategic thinker who can convert opportunities into long-term contracts while coordinating closely with operations to assure service excellence. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Development & Lead Generation Identify, qualify, and acquire new clients across FMCG, e-commerce, retail, pharma, automotive, and manufacturing sectors. Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline using market intelligence and competitor insights. Conduct client meetings, understand operational requirements, and prepare customised logistics proposals. 2. Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth Drive revenue targets through focused sales planning and opportunity conversion. Present Moover India's capabilitiesFTL, PTL, last-mile, intercity, warehousing, and distribution solutionsto potential clients. Negotiate rates, SLAs, long-term contracts, and service agreements. 3. Client Relationship Management Build strong, trusted relationships with key decision-makers: supply chain heads, plant managers, warehouse managers & procurement leaders. Ensure seamless onboarding of new clients and coordinate with internal teams for smooth service execution. Handle escalations professionally and provide data-driven solutions. 4. Operational Coordination Work closely with dispatch, fleet, and warehouse teams to ensure timely vehicle placement and 100% service accuracy. Recommend suitable vehicles (8ft to 32ft) based on load type, route, and compliance needs. Analyse lanes, routes, distances, fuel costs, and market trends to offer competitive pricing. 5. Reporting & Compliance Maintain all sales activity records, reports, and MIS dashboards. Ensure compliance with company policies, documentation, and contractual procedures. Provide periodic business review reports to management. Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills Strong understanding of logistics operations: FTL, PTL, last-mile, distribution, and warehousing. Knowledge of route planning, vehicle deployment, TAT expectations, and fleet management. Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and proposal drafting. Soft Skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Business-focused mindset with high ownership and accountability. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple accounts. Strong problem-solving and client-handling skills. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field. 26 years of B2B sales experience in logistics, transportation, or 3PL/4PL sector.
