The total addressable market (TAM) for supply chain management (SCM) software is substantial and growing rapidly. In 2023, the global SCM software market was valued at approximately $28.9 billion and is projected to reach $45.2 billion by 2027, reflecting a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of around 9.4% during the forecast period. We specifically target the rapidly growing segment of the supply chain management (SCM) industry: small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). This focus has become even more pertinent in light of the supply chain disruptions caused by COVID-19. SMBs now have access to technological advantages previously exclusive to large enterprise companies like Walmart, Amazon, Lowe's, and Home Depot, who have invested hundreds of millions into these technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying the next-generation platform tightly integrated with Amazon AWS services such as EMR, Athena, Glue, and Spark. You will develop an ultra-real-time, AI-driven demand planning engine to help our client serve industries that manage perishable items, including food manufacturing, restaurants, grocery stores, pharmaceuticals, and more. You will collaborate with a talented team to define the product roadmap, manage the product lifecycle, and represent our forecasting capabilities both internally and externally. JOB RESPONSIBILITY: What You'll Do: - Product Strategy: Drive the strategic direction of our forecasting capabilities, working closely with product leadership and cross-functional teams. - Product Lifecycle & Roadmap Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing maintenance, aligning it with business objectives and customer needs. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with development, implementation, training, sales, and support teams to ensure product success. - Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and customer requirements. - Product Positioning: Develop and communicate compelling product positioning and messaging. - Agile Methodology: Work in an agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. EXPERIENCE: - Minimum 5+ yrs of experience and 3+yrs of Product Management and/or Supply Chain Software Implementation experience DESIRED BEHAVIORS: - Analytical – ability to make data-driven recommendations, and understand analysis to answer business questions and challenges. Act as a good citizen of culture and company. SOFT SKILLS: Excellent communication, Flexible attitude and should be able to technically lead the product team which being fully hands-on. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE - Mandatory to have- Experience building or leveraging forecasting models and/or utilization of data platforms for forecasting applications. - Experience in understanding the science behind Demand Forecasting - Interest in learning and developing new functional and technical skills - In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology - Working knowledge of product development architecture - Working knowledge of data model and using SQL - Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles - Excellent oral and written communication - Project planning and management - Strong attention to detail - Strong analytical skills - Ability to communicate well with co-workers - Experience with Atlassian suite of products a plus - Experience in Supply Chain Planning or Inventory Management for Distributors, Retailers and/or Manufacturers – past management of Demand Planning, Replenishment, S&OP and/or Supply Planning a plus
