Hungry for challenges Join a group with innovation at its heart and contribute to the automotive revolution OPmobility is a world-leading provider of innovative solutions for a unique safer and more sustainable mobility experience Innovation-driven since its creation the Group develops and produces intelligent exterior systems customized complex modules lighting systems clean energy systems and electrification solutions for all mobility companies With a EUR11 4 billion economic revenue in 2023 a global network of 152 plants and 40 R D centers OPmobility relies on its 40 300 employees to meet the challenges of transforming mobility Our ambition Provide automakers with cutting-edge equipment and solutions to develop tomorrow s clean and connected car RESPONSIBILITIES ZODPOV DNOSTI Lighting background with 5 to 8 years of experience in Mechanical Design Should have completed at least 2 lighting project life cycle from Start to SOP Manage a project team to develop a lamp project on system level throughout project life cycle till SOP for global Projects Coordinate design activities of mechanical optical and electrical engineers to develop a system that fulfills customer requirements Technical interface to customer for all engineering issues and reporting of results incl Optics Mechanics Electronics and Modules eg LDMs Projectors Define Project Strategy for the lamp system define work-products and processes to be applied re-use strategy process baselines and process tailoring Create and maintain system development time schedule with all internal and external milestones Lead PD aspects of time schedule incl time constraints from optics mechanics and electronics and coordinate with PM Manage Risk Identify and highlight risks follow up with impact analysis develop plan to mitigate risk Coordinate change mgmt within PD and the customer Evaluate technical and time impact for PD of change supports commercial implications Define integrate manufacturing requirements assembly sequence tools EOL testers handling instructions tolerances SC CCs and agree with manufacturing - specific to satisfying system requirements Responsible for DFMEA patent clearance design to cost Ensure passing TDRs milestones and maintaining OIL Support of technical communication with suppliers Responsible for requirements management Measure project performance using KPIs for the respective working results and for the product and process quality Support of industrialization phase as required and requested Transfer project to production EDUCATION REQUIREMENT S With Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering 5 to 8 years lighting experience required With Mechanical Diploma in engineering 7 to 10 years experience required EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT S POZADOVANE ZKUSENOSTI Preferred 5 to 8 years of work experience in lamp design Leadership skills project management skills Very good work organization and autonomous self-motivated work-attitude Willingness to regularly travel and visit other locations customers or suppliers Very good cost consciousness English language proficient and communication skills Proficiency in presentation skills and experience in presenting to large audiences System engineering SW tools Doors ADDITIONAL INFORMATION DOPL UJICI INFORMACE Experience in Leadership Strong negotiating skills Strong Processes Knowledge Ability to Lead the team Stress management Teamwork support and Employee evaluation Strategic thinking As a responsible company OPmobility pays particular attention to diversity and equality within its teams and the Group commits to treat all job applications equally Date Oct 29 2025 Location Pune IN Job Requisition ID 385812
