Job Title: Android Engineer (Kotlin + Flutter) Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Level: 2–3 Years We are seeking a skilled Android Engineer with strong expertise in Kotlin and hands-on experience in Flutter to join our mobile development team. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing high-performance Android applications, while also contributing to cross-platform initiatives using Flutter. Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin. - Build and optimize cross-platform mobile features using Flutter (Dart). - Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences. - Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.). - Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party SDKs. - Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization. - Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives). - Stay updated with the latest Android and Flutter ecosystem trends. Qualifications - 2–3 years of professional experience in Android development. - Strong proficiency in Kotlin (primary language for Android development). - Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Flutter and Dart. - Solid understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, Room, etc.). - Experience with Flutter state management (Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, or GetX). - Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines. - Knowledge of material design principles and responsive UI development. - Experience with testing frameworks: JUnit, Espresso (Android), flutter_test (Flutter). Required Skills - Published apps on Google Play Store. - Experience with Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics). - Knowledge of dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger, Koin). - Familiarity with reactive programming (Coroutines, Flow, RxJava). - Contributions to open-source projects or personal Flutter/Android apps.
