Computer Science/IT degree (or any other engineering discipline)Experience: 5+ yearsPosition Requirements:Proficient with Android SDK and Android Studio IDECandidate must have sound knowledge of OOPs fundamentals, Coroutines, and Kotlin FlowShould have working experience on MVVM, Clean Architecture, MVP, software design patterns, Kotlin, Java, Android architecture, and Gradle Build SystemExperience with XML layouts and Data Binding for traditional Android UIStrong experience with Jetpack Compose for modern UI developmentExperience with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) for cross-platform developmentExperience working with RESTful APIsKnowledge of source code control understanding (experience with GitLab, GitHub)Excellent UI design skills using the Android frameworkProficient in unit testing with JUnit, Mockito, MockKExperience in using AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT to enhance development productivityRole & Responsibilities:Develop features for our Android applications - Medscape, Univadis, and other WebMD Apps based on user storiesCollaborate closely with the team members in Mumbai, France, and the USBuild responsive and intuitive user interfaces using Jetpack ComposeContribute to KMM initiatives to share business logic between Android and iOS platformsImplement unit and UI tests to ensure code quality and application stability.Leverage AI tools and assistants to enhance productivity and accelerate problem-solvingIdentify and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and other issues.Stay updated on the latest Android technologies, tools, and best practices.Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our codebase.Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.Participate in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, grooming, and retrospective meetings.
