Director of Data & Analytics Architecture is responsible for overseeing architecture, strategy and operations for the data engineering team. High level job duties for Director of Data & Analytics Architecture would include - Data & AI Platforms and DevOps Lead the transformation of data operations by embedding AI-driven automation, reducing manual intervention, and enhancing operational efficiency. Develop and implement best practices and frameworks for DevOps to enhance governance, streamline processes, and drive performance excellence Transformation & Innovation: Demonstrate a strong focus on innovation by constantly identifying and experimenting with data technologies that push the boundaries of what's possible, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of digital transformation. Champion the development of frictionless, Data and AI platforms and ecosystems Strategic Oversight & Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across business units to ensure successful adoption and optimization of data products and cloud services. Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive the culture of innovation and continuous improvement Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of data professionals, and cloud specialists. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence within the team, driving continuous learning and improvement. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in data science, Computer Science, Business, or related field (Master's degree preferred). Total 18+ years of experience out of which 10+ years of progressive growth in data analytics, product management, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a Director or Senior Leadership capacity. Experience leading transformational change in data & analytics operations, driving the shift to AI-powered analytics within complex organizations. Demonstrated results in a cloud native ecosystem using modern data platforms (cloud services, data lakes, big data technologies, and analytics tools) Extensive experience in AI-driven hyper-automation initiatives and implementing DevOps for scalable data-driven solutions. Deep knowledge of data engineering, analytics, and data architecture principles. Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Outstanding leadership and team management skills, with a focus on building and mentoring high-performing teams. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Skills: Certifications in cloud platforms (Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, etc.). Understanding of agile methodologies and experience managing agile teams. Project management experience with strong organizational and execution capabilities.
