Customer Account Manager - The C and L Group Incorporating candlinvestigations co uk and candlcollections co uk The C and L Group is a trusted partner to leading household brands across the UK As a Customer Account Manager you will be the first point of contact for clients customers who may be experiencing financial difficulties You will play a key role in supporting our Legal Collections and Investigations teams while delivering fair compassionate and results-driven customer service We operate from a vibrant newly refurbished office in a fantastic location near the harbour If you are motivated customer-focused and eager to grow this is the opportunity for you Why Join Us We are investing heavily in our people and our future Over the next five years we are transforming how we work serve our clients and support their customers and you can be part of that journey We offer Newly refurbished offices Staff discount scheme Attractive uncapped OTE bonus package Increased annual leave after one year of service Staff Fun Days and Wellness Days Clear career development opportunities Responsibilities Providing support to the Legal Collections and Investigations teams Making outbound calls emails and texts to customers regarding outstanding balances Supporting customers in financial difficulty while treating all customers fairly Managing client accounts and maintaining accurate records Preparing legal referral bundles and escalating matters appropriately Setting up Direct Debits and taking payments Chasing missed payments and re-setting Direct Debits when necessary Handling 30-50 inbound and outbound calls per day Completing general administrative duties including photocopying and scanning About You Do you pride yourself on resolving customer queries with care and accuracy Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where delivering first-class service is key If so we want to hear from you We are looking for skilled or semi-skilled customer service professionals who are committed to putting customers at the heart of everything we do Qualifications Skills Excellent written and spoken English English-language certificate required IELTS TOEFL or equivalent level 6 or equivalent standard Strong phone handling skills with active listening ability Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to manage different customer personalities with empathy Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including basic Excel Experience with CRM systems preferred Proven ability to meet or exceed targets Ability to multi-task prioritise and manage time effectively Customer service experience preferred full training provided Some legal understanding is an advantage Additional Information Job Types Full-time Part-time Permanent Please note We have a thorough referencing process including credit checks and criminal record checks Applicants are asked to provide a short cover letter explaining why they should be considered Job Types Full-time Permanent Internship Contractual Temporary Contract length 18 months Pay From 25 000 00 per month
