We are on a mission to make growing your own food accessible, joyful, and community-powered. Born during lockdown out of frustration with years-long council allotment waiting lists, we transform underused land into no-dig, fully prepped plots where members can plant immediately, with all tools, seeds, and expert guidance included.

More than just an allotment provider, we welcome gardening communities across multiple UK locationslinking nature, wellbeing, and inclusivity. Each site features shared tools, organic methods, biodiversity-friendly design, and a calendar of workshops and eventsmaking food growing about connection as much as cultivation

The Role

Were looking for a Full-Stack Developer who can work across our web, mobile, and backend platforms, taking ownership of features from concept to deployment.

Youll work closely with our tech and operations teams to deliver products that improve site operations, enhance the customer experience, and streamline internal workflows. This isnt just a build what youre told role we want someone who will think strategically, challenge assumptions, and help shape our technical direction.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain web and mobile applications using our modern tech stack.
- Collaborate with the team to define system architecture and choose the best tools and approaches to achieve business goals.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for both frontend and backend components.
- Implement and manage RESTful APIs for communication between platforms.
- Use product analytics (PostHog) to track usage, identify pain points, and guide improvements.
- Support operational teams with ad-hoc technical fixes and urgent issues, including occasional weekend support.
- Participate in code reviews, QA processes, and deployment workflows.
- Contribute to documentation and ensure technical knowledge is captured and shared.

Tech Stack

Youll work with:

- Frontend (Web): Vue.js, Nuxt.js, Tailwind CSS, Pinia/Vuex
- Mobile: React Native, NativeWind, Expo, React Navigation
- Backend & Database: Supabase (PostgreSQL, Auth, Realtime), Supabase Edge Functions, RESTful APIs
- Hosting & Deployment: DigitalOcean, Supabase Hosting, GitHub + CI Pipelines
- Analytics: PostHog (feature flags, funnels, session recording)
- Project Management: Monday.com, Slack, Figma
- Testing & QA: Postman, Expo Go, Android Studio, Xcode, Sentry
- Developer Tooling: Git, Nuxt CLI, Supabase CLI, DigitalOcean Droplets/Spaces

Note:We value deep PostgreSQL experience over direct Supabase experience, if youve worked extensively with Postgres, youll adapt quickly.

What Were Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience:

- 2+ years of professional development experience across frontend and backend.
- Strong skills in Vue.js and React Native.
- Solid experience with PostgreSQL (or Supabase) and RESTful API design.
- Proven ability to work across both web and mobile applications.
- Experience deploying applications and managing hosting environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and version control (Git).

- Previous work in startups or scaling businesses/products.

Work Schedule

As the client is UK-based, you will be required to work in UK daytime:

- Monday to Friday
- 13:30 - 22:30 IST (08:00 am - 17:00 GMT)
- Occasional ad-hoc weekend work for urgent bug fixes or outages.

Pay & Benefits - What youll get in return:

- Annual CTC: 14 to 18 lakhs
