Area Sales Manager INTERNAL USAGE No of Vacancies Reports to Regional Sales Manager Is a Team leader Y Team Size Direct 5-7 Indirect 30 Grade M SM Business Bharat Banking Department Bharat Enterprise Sub-Department Nano Business Location About This is new vertical in Bharat Banking-Bharat Enterprise This vertical specially caters to credit needs of Nano business enterprises wherein the credit requirement both secured and un-secured in between 1-20 Lakh About the Role The Area Sales Manager is responsible for leading the team of Sales Manager at assigned branches for Nano Business loan The Role is expected to manage the team efficiently to achieve the disbursement collection and portfolio management targets as per defined parameters of the bank The role will be taking care of 2-3 districts of state based on the portfolio size Key Responsibilities Handling sales target for the secured and unsecured loan products for Nano business focused in semi urban and rural area Train the team for loans products and other banking products for cross sale opportunity Tracking and improving manpower productivity Managing collection efficiency to ensure nil flows from bucket X Managing early delinquencies to ensure portfolio is healthy and there are no nonstarter cases Customers assessment by visiting business place residence place and security proposed for cases as per banks policy Periodic visits of customers and cross checking of sourcing quality loan utilization Managing PDD and audit queries and ensure submission within time Keeping regular track of competition and reporting new products market development Managing relationship with customer and act as first point of contact for any issues if not resolved by RE Adhering to the banks policies and ensuring compliance of the same Qualifications Optimal qualification for success on the job is Education Graduation Post Graduation Maximum Age 40 Years Experience 3-10 Years of experience in sales in Bank or NBFC for- Nano Micro Business Loans Small ticket LAP Self-employed PL AHL o Good understanding of Micro Small unsecured business loan Affordable housing or Small ticket LAP Role Proficiencies For successful execution of the job a candidate should possess the following Knowledge Good knowledge of field level operations and systems Experience in assessed business income is must Should have knowledge on o Basic knowledge of credit bureau check o Banking assessment o Repayment record assessment o Understanding of local market practices with regard to legal and valuation of property o Good knowledge of local area and financial economic conditions Skills Strong leadership skills Good communication both verbal written and inter-personal skills Good team management skills Abilities Ability to work effectively across functions and demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others Ability to manage risk and uncertainty for self and team within a dynamic priority-setting environment Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment Ability to work as a part of team and contribute towards team goals Ability to travel minimum 15- 20 days a month Skills Refer to the About Company Axis Bank is the third largest private sector bank in India The Bank offers the entire spectrum of financial services to customer segments covering Large and Mid-Corporates MSME Agriculture and Retail Businesses The Bank has a large footprint of 4 594 domestic branches including extension counters with 11 333 ATMs 5 710 cash recyclers spread across the country as on 31st March 2021 The Bank has 6 Virtual Centres and has over 1500 Virtual Relationship Managers as on 31st March 2021 The Overseas operations of the Bank are spread over eight international offices with branches at Singapore Dubai at DIFC and Gift City-IBU representative offices at Dhaka Dubai Abu Dhabi Sharjah and an Overseas subsidiary at London UK The international offices focus on Corporate Lending Trade Finance Syndication Investment Banking and Liability Businesses
