Job Summary: The Sales Manager is a leadership role responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of sales professionals to achieve the organization’s revenue and customer acquisition goals. Sales Planning and Strategy Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with the company’s short-term and long-term business goals. Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities. Set realistic sales targets and create action plans for achieving them. 2. Team Leadership and Development Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of sales executives or representatives. Assign targets, monitor individual performance, and conduct regular performance reviews. Motivate and inspire the team to meet and exceed sales goals through coaching and rewards. 3. Sales Execution and Client Acquisition Oversee the execution of sales strategies across territories or product segments. Help sales representatives close complex or high-value deals. Build and maintain relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders. Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations when required. 4. Performance Monitoring and Reporting Track team KPIs such as conversion rates, revenue generation, client acquisition, and pipeline development. Generate weekly/monthly reports on sales performance, challenges, and growth areas. Use CRM systems and tools to monitor lead progress, customer interactions, and sales metrics. 5. Customer Relationship Management Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective service and after-sales support. Address escalated client issues and resolve conflicts professionally. Collect customer feedback to improve product offerings or service quality. 6. Collaboration with Other Departments Coordinate with marketing, product, finance, and customer support teams for seamless sales operations. Provide insights to the product and marketing teams regarding customer preferences and market needs. Work closely with senior management to align sales goals with organizational strategy. 7. Market Expansion and Business Development Identify new markets, business opportunities, and channels for distribution. Attend industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows to network and represent the company.
