Job Description

- Designing TA solutions which are maintainable, extensible, modular & follow good industry practices.
- Design and implement high quality, reusable and scalable test automation frameworks for web, mobile API and desktop applications.
- Promote adoption of AI driven testing tools and methodologies where applicable.
- Creating and maintaining TA frameworks, TA solutions which can be used by all/many projects & programs with TA across a company
- Identifying the best-fit languages, TA frameworks, TA tools, data input and output methods/types for a project or program TA solution
- Lead and manage the testing team to ensure the successful implementation of automation testing strategies and design robust automation frameworks.
- Collaborate on test case design for comprehensive coverage.
- Ensure correct test environments are setup and ready.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
- Oversee test execution, monitor results, and generate reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
- Identify data requirements and ensure availability of test data.
- Establish governance processes for consistency.
- Maintain documentation and follow compliance standards.

Professional and Technical Skills

- Proficiency in Automated Testing. Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Experience in designing and implementing automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as TOSCA and test management tool like ALM.
- Solid knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python.
- Experience in Agile development methodologies.
- Experience working as a test automation architect in a testing / quality function for SAP / ERP landscape.

Good to have Skills

- Experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
