Area Security Manager

The Area Security Manager assigned to one of Pinkerton s largest global clients will drive the development and standardization of security policies and programs for safeguarding corporate business operations This position has direct management responsibility for the delivery of effective corporate security operations and emergency incident response Provide support in safety and business continuity as well as physical security design installation in Corporate Office Essential Functions 1 Represent Pinkerton s core values of integrity vigilance and excellence 2 Facilitate coordinate and support the creation and execution of business continuity management crisis management and incident response program 3 Good command over data management with working knowledge of managing the worksheets in excel 4 Provide input to support security design projects during construction phase and evaluating security fit-out plans 5 Develop scheduled security related training workshop in line with Corporate Security Program for security team and associates within Corporate Office 6 Perform other security related duties as required or assigned by Regional Security Manager RSM 7 Good command over knowledge of transport management with managing the escort guards under transport security 8 Coordinate with stakeholders during any incident and assist in incident management 9 Coordinate with the local authorities in case situation demands in collaboration with RSM 10 All other duties as assigned Education Experience and Certifications Degree or higher in criminal justice security law enforcement or equivalent education with eight to ten years of experience in the development of security plans policies trend analysis intelligence investigations and security awareness training programs Ex Armed Forces Officer with up to ten years of experience within a corporate security setting will also be considered CPP PSP CISSP CISM certification is preferred Pinkerton is an inclusive employer who seeks candidates with diverse backgrounds experiences and perspectives Competencies Understanding of crisis operations risk management and crisis communication Strong working knowledge of physical security systems and components Attentive to detail and accuracy Adaptable to varying situations requiring well-informed decision making with minimum supervision Effective written verbal and presentation communication skills Able to analyze complex situations think outside of the box and recommend solutions Able to multi-task and organize workload for effective implementation Able to adapt as the external environment and organization evolve Client orientated and results driven Able to work independently while also effectively collaborating with others Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Working Conditions With or without reasonable accommodation requires the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions Exposure to sensitive and confidential information Regular computer usage Must be able to see hear speak and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and or customers Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment Ability to adjust focus between close and distance vision Frequent sitting standing and or walking Travel as required Pinkerton is an equal opportunity employer to all applicants and positions without regard to race ethnicity color national origin ancestry sex gender gender identity expression sexual orientation marital prenatal status pregnancy childbirth or related conditions religion creed age disability genetic information veteran status or any protected status by local state federal or country-specific law
