Our vision for the future is based on the idea that transforming financial lives starts by giving our people the freedom to transform their own We have a flexible work environment and fluid career paths We not only encourage but celebrate internal mobility We also recognize the importance of purpose well-being and work-life balance Within Empower and our communities we work hard to create a welcoming and inclusive environment and our associates dedicate thousands of hours to volunteering for causes that matter most to them Chart your own path and grow your career while helping more customers achieve financial freedom Empower Yourself The Senior Analyst Empower Investments Reporting is responsible for building and enhancing reporting and data solutions for Empower Investments across a various proprietary products Reporting Analyst also needs the technical know-how to code and build the queries automation processes and reports themselves as well as drive strategic initiatives and best practices across the department ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Responsible for project work related to automation opportunities and internal process modernization with an emphasis on technical process enhancements This includes developing and writing system specific message files to support processes using Alteryx robotics and other tools available Develop new reporting tools in areas such as committee oversight and governance marketing materials competitive intelligence etc Work as needed with internal IT and systems development resources to research process flow issues in Investment Operations and make recommendations for system enhancements Mentor team members to build on their experience and efficiency Establish and maintain procedures and best practices for the organization including reviewing recommending and implementing changes to improve processes and workflow QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science Information Systems Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience 4-7 years working at a financial firm ideally in a technical reporting or investment analysis capacity Familiarity with many different types of financial instruments and products General familiarity and understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements and investment mandates Knowledge and experience working with investment data and investment attributes Experience and proficiency working with different financial database technologies for analytical and reporting needs Experience working with and understanding the needs of stakeholders from different areas of the firm portfolio management investment administration compliance etc Advanced Microsoft Office skills Excel Access and PowerPoint Experience using additional software such as Bloomberg PAM PLM Alteryx Microsoft Power BI SAP Morningstar Direct eVestment and Oracle Ability and capacity to transition and learn others as needed Coding abilities using SQL VBA Python Power Query DAX Ability and capacity to transition and learn others as needed We are an equal opportunity employer with a commitment to diversity All individuals regardless of personal characteristics are encouraged to apply All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age race color national origin ancestry sex sexual orientation gender gender identity gender expression marital status pregnancy religion physical or mental disability military or veteran status genetic information or any other status protected by applicable state or local law
