Time zone EMEA What you ll do Responsible for the delivery of the Accounting Service Management function in conjunction with the Client Reporting and Accounting Service Manager Responsible for setting team objectives and assisting in appraisals alongside the Client Reporting and Accounting Service Manager Responsible for undertaking the following Accounting Service Management team tasks o Ensuring correct accounting methodology information is provided and applied as part of the onboarding process within agreed SLAs This includes the configuration of Aladdin VRS and Performance architecture and covers both the new client onboarding process and re-structures of existing client mandates o Ensuring correct accounting methodology is provided and applied as part of the new instrument set up process within agreed SLAs o Ensuring that focus is given to sensitive clients and undertaking any specific accounting service offerings associated with them o Ensuring production of detailed change requests for any required BAU Non Core projects impacting the team o Ensuring timely and accurate information is provided as part of RFP requests o Ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of Client accounting records to third parties where required by our clients o Ensuring timely resolution to complex queries received from external teams Responsible for ensuring business controls are implemented and adhered to Act as an escalation point and SME for Accounting Service Management queries Responsible for producing monthly MIS KPI figures relevant to the Accounting Management function for consumption by the Oversight teams Provide written monthly commentary to the Oversight function in Horsham and Singapore on delivery vs KPI targets Responsible for escalating issues to the Client Reporting and Accounting Service Manager that fall outside agreed service standards where appropriate Responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of changes to working practices and procedures including upstream operational teams so as to improve individual team departmental performance and efficiency and reduce operational risk Responsible for building and developing good working relationships between the Accounting Control Service Management team and its internal clients and suppliers Responsible for liaison with other Client teams in undertaking the above What you ll be like The knowledge experience and qualifications you need Excellent leadership skills with the ability to direct and motivate a team Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal Good client awareness and relationship management skills Proactive problem-solving skills and a good attention to detail Strong prioritization and organizational skills Ability to priorities own and others work Desire to learn and develop PC skills including MS Excel and MS Word Previous management and leadership experience essential Experience in the Securities or Fund Management industry at a technical or management level Previous experience in portfolio accounting required Attained Training and Competency level appropriate for role e g IAQ professional qualifications Experience in RPA Experience working on the Aladdin platform Personal Attributes An expert in your field and a strong mentor to the team Good at analysing and solving problems with a strong handle on operational risk Effective in managing your own and others time with ability to prioritise tasks and delegate appropriately Open to feedback receptive to change challenges status quo and continually looks out for team and self improvement opportunities Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills A strong team player able to develop and manage strong working relationships with global internal departments and external counterparties Able to adapt to changes quickly and be an advocator of an innovative culture within the team Skills Fund Management Securities Portfolio Management About Company UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider For more than 20 years UST has worked side by side with the world s best companies to make a real impact through transformation Powered by technology inspired by people and led by purpose UST partners with their clients from design to operation With deep domain expertise and a future-proof philosophy UST embeds innovation and agility into their clients organizations With over 30 000 employees in 30 countries UST builds for boundless impact touching billions of lives in the process
