Regional Business Lead manages Norit Activated Carbon business in India He she works with global regional and local teams to develop Norit business goals for India as well as market plans to attain those goals The Regional Business Lead manages and leads 1 direct report In this role it is important to appropriately balance the need to deliver in the short term with the overarching goal of establishing a broader platform for sustainable future growth in India The regular responsibilities of this role include In cooperation with global regional and local team develop strategies aimed at attaining Norit business goals in India Implementation of Norit business strategies market plan in India Develop and strengthen business relationships with key people such as agents wholesalers customers Lead India Sales team work closely with marketing supply chain and product management to achieve goals Monitor and understand product market trends through close communication with agencies customers and identify opportunities to profitably increase market share Provide overall management of the Norit operations in India and directly manage the sales employee Support Business Development activities in India such as OEM contracts and provide market insights strategic input and business case development as needed Consistent use of Salesforce com for maintaining up to date living documents and contain the ComStrat Balance of Power and ENS negotiations preparation documents Requirements 10-12 years of Sales Marketing experience in an Industrial Chemical company 3-5 years of experience managing people and directing their work Working experience in international business environment and or foreign MNC with a matrix organization preferred Proven track record as a Sales Individual Sales Marketing of Activated Carbon experience would be preferred Bachelor s degree of Chemical Engineering and MBA desirable Result driven and innovative leader able to proactively deal with various business challenges Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills Ability to build and maintain positive business relationships Flexible and adaptable to changing market conditions Strong innovator able to visualize and follow through on ideas and concepts Displays entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to explore new ideas Able to sell ideas and turn concepts into practical solutions Analytical skills and ability to understand interdependencies and cause and effect relationships - sharp strategic thinking ability and sound judgment Strong business mindset and ability work under pressure and meet deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to provide effective feedback and coaching with the aptitude to influence both internally and externally with suppliers internal customers and peers Business and project management skills including ability to develop implement strategy and to manage costs Benefits Competitive salary base with variable pay A flat organizational structure that fosters collaboration and empowers employees to take ownership of their projects Exciting challenges work challenges through management of multiple projects and diversity of tasks Opportunities for professional growth and development as we take on new projects NORIT Activated Carbon is one of the global leaders and produces various qualities of activated carbon in its powder and granular form Our mission - to be the customer s 1 choice for added value activated carbon solutions in energy environmental water food chemical pharma automotive and other industrial markets We supply a broad portfolio of materials know-how and technical expertise complementary services and technologies We have established our global presence with manufacturing plants in the Netherlands United Kingdom Italy and United States and as well a Global Business Service center in Riga
