Job Description About Collection Department: The Collection department focuses on the collection of the bank's various loan products like Home Loans, Car Loans, and Personal Loans among others. While underwriting department focuses on risk mitigation towards the loan offered to the customers. The department is key for the Loans business vertical as it is responsible for controlling & ensuring timely EMI collection & maintaining risk of the business. About the Role: The RCU Zonal Manager is responsible for identifying the potential financial losses in branches like cheque fraud, cash not tallying at the EOD, any kind of office accounts debit and credit without any proper reason or motto, clearing accounts. They are also responsible for monitoring, on daily basis, illegitimate transactions from customers. Key Responsibilities - Manage and control application Frauds in the region by ensuring sampling efficiency with continual improved hit rates against sampling percentages or the optimal sampling percentage as is decided from time to time - Ensure completion of CPV/ LR/Other Verification - Ensure quality verifications of Gold Loan packets through RCU agencies for all Consumer Lending branches in the region as per set frequency. - Ensure quality verifications conducted through RCU agencies for all ware houses funded by bank in the region every month. - Ensure eyeballing activity through RCU agencies for submitted various post sanction documents and trigger base sampling at CPCs in the respective zones. - Ensure Post Sanction / Disbursal Asset Verifications are conducted for various loan products eg. HL, LAP, Tractor Loans etc. Cross checking. - Ensure Second Level Field Verification of qualifying CASA Customers in the zone , as per RBO Norms - Ensure detailed optimal investigation of 100% FD (Fraud Document) cases and 50% of FP (Fraud profile) cases per month with respect to Sampling Frauds leading to perpetrator identification and setting of deterrents. - Ensure action 100% of cases in Hunter within TAT with zero error and ensure the catch to match ratio. - Ensure Vendor Audit fulfillment - Ensure all vendors across the zones are audit ready (internal/external) and ensure remedial steps are followed through appropriately - Complete various CBT and other training modules by all team members within the time allotted - Monitor RCU cost closely and come up with cost reduction ideas - Co-ordinate with internal and external stakeholders like - law enforcement agencies, business team, Credit and Operations, Collections team, peer Banks benchmarking, etc. - Conduct quarterly training to internal and external stakeholders - Analyze latest market trends and sharing the same in monthly meeting with sales/credit/ops team in respective zones - Qualifications: Optimal qualification for success on the job is: - Graduation/ Post graduation from a recognized institute Role Proficiencies: For successful execution of the job, the candidate should possess the following: - Extensive knowledge of Retail Banking practices and products, and ability to understand new concepts quickly - Good communication (both verbal and written) skill in both English and the local language - Strong Interpersonal and Relationship Management Skills. - Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills. - Strong leadership qualities and proven track record in driving change and influencing people - Highly motivated with the ability to multi task and remain organized in a fast paced environment. - Team oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability - Should be a clear thinker, excellent communicator and have high levels of commitment. - Sound ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet scheduled guidelines.
