About The Role To lead the process engineering function, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective manufacturing processes for air conditioning products. Responsible for continuous improvement, new product integration into production, and supporting cross-functional teams in achieving production goals. Role Responsibilities - Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for HVAC product assembly lines. - Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process flows. - Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve productivity. - Collaborate with R&D, design, and production teams for smooth NPI. - Support pilot runs and validates new process capabilities for new models or variants. - Identify and evaluate manufacturing equipment needs, process automation, and tooling. - Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for installation and commissioning of equipment. - Ensure processes comply with quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.). - Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for process-related issues and drive corrective actions. - Work closely with Quality Assurance for process audits and CAPA. - Lead initiatives for cycle time reduction, labor productivity, and energy efficiency. - Analyze and control manufacturing cost drivers. - Lead and mentor a team of process engineers and technicians. - Provide training on process control, safety, and lean tools. Role Purpose To lead the process engineering function, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective manufacturing processes for air conditioning products. Minimum Requirements 8 to 15 years of total experience with relevant 8years into process engineering role.
