We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Executive to spearhead the growth of our Clearing & Settlement business, particularly focused on funds that have been set up in Gift and who trade derivatives in India. This individual will be responsible for driving new business development, cultivating relationships with funds that have set up / looking to set up in GIFT City and promoting the firm's clearing and settlement solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial markets, a proven track record in sales within the financial industry, and experience in clearing, settlement, and related operations for AIFs based in Gift who which are registered as an FPI Cat 1 in India

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive sales and business development efforts for clearing and settlement services to AIFs that have been set up in Gift City.

- Track and reach out to AIFs who have shown interest in setting up the fund in Gift City

- Weekly tracking of the IFCA list which showcases the FMEs that have received approvals and schedule meeting for PCM pitch.

- Conducting client meetings, presentations, and product demonstration to potential clients who are looking to set up in Gift City.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including custodians, CPA and lawyers.

- Provide ongoing support and account management for key clients, ensuring they receive the best possible service.

-Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes affecting the clearing a nd settlement space.

- Work with internal teams to develop marketing materials, presentations, and proposals that highlight the firm's clearing capabilities and value proposition.

- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote clearing and settlement services.

- Develop an in-depth understanding of the firm's clearing and settlement infrastructure, its benefits for AIFs and how it can be leveraged to meet the needs of institutional clients.

- Present and explain the firm's offerings in a compelling manner, emphasizing how the firm's technology, risk management, and clearing services differentiate it from competitors.

- Set and achieve sales targets and revenue goals for the clearing business.

- Track performance, report on sales progress, and provide regular updates to senior management.

- Work with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation for new clients.

Qualifications

- Must have 3 to 5 years of financial sales experience.

- Postgraduate in Finance

- Ability to provide efficient solutions and meet timelines.

- Ability to understand Clearing & Settlement business for FPIs

- Should be self-motivated and have good communication skills and ability to work in teams

- Should have an affable personality, especially while liaising with counter parties.
