We re experiencing an exciting period of growth and we have opportunities available for a talented and innovative individual to join our fast-growing office at a senior level and looking to take their career on to the next step Data Centre design experience is essential as is a willingness to travel within India and potentially abroad This is an opportunity to be a part of an established and expanding office in Mumbai undertaking first-class projects Deerns is a company that was founded 95 years ago We specialize in Mechanical Electrical and Piping MEP advisory design and engineering particularly for mission critical and high-tech building systems and industrial facilities Our team in Mumbai is looking for a Project Manager Data Centers to lead our design and engineering teams and to drive the growth of our business in India Key Activities - High-performing professional with a reputation of successfully carrying out Project Design execution Management responsibilities Demonstrated experience in developing Conceptual designs and carry out basic engineering and coordinate with detail engineering Knowledge of cGMP norms CCOE OISD norms Factory Inspectorate Rules Shall have very good knowledge of FDA guidelines Experience of Participation in HAZOP Study Leading Project Team Manpower Planning for effective utilization Leading Meeting with Client Contractors Vendors Travelling to site during execution work for design coordination Setting up Project Execution Plans Guidelines Coordination with Site Construction team Knowledge of Statutory Requirements Preparation of Weekly Monthly Project Status Report Support to Marketing team while bidding for new project Expertise in project planning scheduling budgeting and monitoring Expertise in project costing Invoicing Experience in Handling International clients right from concept basic detail construction Preparing Risk analysis Report for Project Competency in checking Civil MEP Drawings Proficiency in swiftly ramping up projects with competent cross-functional skills and ensuring on time deliverables within pre-set cost parameters Knowledge of Procurement activities Vendor Evaluation Technical Evaluation Recommendation Location Mumbai India Working from Thane office Job Status Permanent Sector Data Centres part of Life Sciences High-Tech Unit Salary Competitive and negotiable Job Title Project Manager Report to Operations Director Degree Qualified - BE Chemical Mechanical Engineering Advanced language ability minimum English and Hindi both written and spoken Experience in working in a multinational and multicultural settings Typically 10-12 years experience in a similar role Candidates from Consultancy industry Shall be conversant with all relevant codes and standards required for project execution Understanding of all aspects governing operational production activities regulations guidelines statutory compliances in industry Experience in Setting up API Chemical Manufacturing Facilities Concept Basic Detail Engineering Work Knowledge of MS Schedule AutoCAD AutoCad Plant 3D Revit Navisworks Shall have to travel visit relocate at any site as per project requirement Lead and Mentor the team of skilled engineers and designers Ability to work to schedule tight deadlines and budgets Ability to prioritise own workload and that of their team Ability to carry out problem solving Experience of being technical lead on projects Experience with power systems in Data Centers Familiarity with Indian engineering regulations Familiarity with RIBA Plan of Work Indian design experience necessary with deep knowledge of NFPA codes NBC Codes local and international IS and ISO Standards Very good proactive communicator
