Job Description

- To manage Travel Insurance Product and Underwriting business , should also have knowledge to manage Group Health and Group Personal Accident quotes / referrals
- System Requirement gathering, UAT and co-ordination with IT team and other relevant stakeholders for development of Health products and system implementation from end to end
- Providing Underwriting inputs in Product Development & revision for Group Policies
- Coordinating with Operations and Claims for Inception, Policy Servicing and Claims settlement
- Coordination with local sales team in understanding and developing the risk profile of group policies for underwriting within the set guidelines.
- To analyse and review the portfolio.
- To work on renewals
- To develop working relationships with Intermediaries.

Competencies:

- Underwriting Skills for Travel Insurance (must required), Group Health and Group PA
- Efficiently able to handle IT projects from end to end to implement process, business requirement documents, should be able to manage UATs and final production sign off
- Closely need to work with stakeholders like IT development team , Sales, UW , Claims, Operations and Finance for UW product implementation projects
- Knowledge of Health Insurance products and processes.
- Proficiency in Excel
- Working knowledge of IT system
- Market intelligence
- Good communication skill

Experience:

- Minimum 8-10 years of working experience in Underwriting role in General Insurance Company.

Qualifications

- Minimum Bachelor Degree
- Preferred : Post Graduate Degree
