This is a full-time on-site role as a Sales Manager Solar at Imperra Energy Pvt Ltd located in Surat. The Sales Manager Solar will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing a sales team, cultivating relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets in the solar energy sector.Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Develop and implement sales strategies to promote solar panels, inverters, rooftop/ground-mounted solar systems, and related products. Generate new business opportunities through client acquisition in residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations and proposals. Negotiate and close deals with customers, EPC contractors, and distributors. Client Relationship Management Build long-term partnerships with clients, consultants, and channel partners. Address customer queries, provide technical and commercial clarifications, and ensure satisfaction. Follow up with leads and convert inquiries into successful orders. Team Management & Leadership Lead, train, and motivate a team of sales executives to achieve individual and team targets. Monitor sales performance, provide guidance, and implement corrective measures when needed. Allocate territories, manage field sales activities, and ensure reporting discipline. Market Research & Strategy Keep track of solar industry trends, government policies, subsidies, and competitor activities. Identify potential markets and opportunities for expansion. Provide market intelligence to management for strategic planning. Reporting & Coordination Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports. Coordinate with the technical, design, and project execution teams to ensure smooth delivery. Track payments and ensure timely collections from clients. Skills & Competencies Required Strong knowledge of solar products, renewable energy solutions, and government policies/subsidies. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets. Leadership qualities with experience in handling a sales team. Analytical mindset with market research and business planning ability. Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital sales platforms.
