As Product Manager – Digitalization & Industrial AI, you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle—from strategy and roadmap to market introduction and scaling. You will work across cross-functional teams, partners, and customers to define, launch, and scale AI-driven digital solutions for ABB’s global industrial customers. Job Title: Technology Product Manager – Digitalization & Industrial AI Location: Bangalore, India Reports to: Head of Technology Product Management – PA Digital The work model for the role is: Onsite This role is contributing to the ABB Process Automation Digital Division in Bangalore. Key Responsibilities: Drive Industrial AI GTM & Market Readiness - Lead go-to-market (GTM) strategies for AI-driven digital solutions, ensuring commercial, technical, and operational readiness. - Align product packaging, pricing, positioning, and partnerships across global markets. Define & Evolve AI-Enabled Product Portfolio - Shape the roadmap for ABB’s industrial digital platforms (IoT, analytics, AI/ML). - Translate customer and industry needs into scalable AI-based offerings for asset-intensive industries. Ensure Compliance & Trust - Collaborate with legal, cybersecurity, and regulatory teams to ensure digital products meet AI ethics, data privacy, cybersecurity, and trade compliance standards. Sales & Customer Enablement - Build and deliver sales toolkits, AI-driven value proposition models, ROI calculators, and objection handling guides. - Conduct enablement programs for sales, presales, and partner ecosystems to accelerate adoption. Industrial AI Launch Planning - Lead product launch execution for digital and AI solutions, coordinating across R&D, marketing, sales, and delivery. - Monitor adoption, customer outcomes, and market traction to refine offerings continuously. Customer & Ecosystem Engagement - Partner with customers to co-create AI solutions that solve real industrial challenges. - Engage with ecosystem partners (cloud, hyperscalers, digital ISVs) to build joint solutions and strengthen ABB’s market position. Performance Tracking & Feedback - Track adoption metrics, customer satisfaction, deal velocity, and competitive performance. - Feed insights into continuous product innovation and scaling strategies. Required Experience & Skills: - Education: B.E./B.Tech in Computer science/Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation or related field + MBA preferred - 10+ years of experience in digital product management, presales, or GTM within Industrial Digitalization, IIoT, AI/Analytics platforms. - Proven success in building and launching AI/ML-powered digital solutions in organizations like Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider, Cognite, Microsoft, AWS, or equivalent. - Expertise in industrial verticals such as Energy, Utilities, Chemicals, Mining, Manufacturing, or Transportation. - Strong commercial acumen in SaaS, hybrid, and enterprise deployment models. - Excellent stakeholder management in a global, matrixed environment. Preferred Qualifications - Hands-on understanding of AI/ML lifecycle management in industrial contexts. - Experience with digital ecosystems, cloud platforms, and industrial data platforms. - Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive digital adoption at scale. - Track record of successfully commercializing digital/AI products globally.
