Purpose of the RoleThe role acts as an expert with strong knowledge of the system and functionality architecture partitioning design testing and integration of EE Architecture The candidate is expected to possess strong knowledge of Hardware development process interfaces EMC and environmental specifications Experience of automotive communication and Diagnostic protocols CAN LIN UDS etc and usage of communication and diagnostic tools CANoe CANalyzer ODX Studio Indigo etc Qualification BE CSE Electronics Telecommunication InstrumentationLocation Pune MaharashtraMinimum 5 years experienceJob Responsibility Develop deploy state of the art application for After Sales and End of line for diagnostics flashing configuration etc complying to regulations and standards Responsible for designing testing delivery and deployment of tool chains for ECU on-board diagnostics EOL After sales Off board requirements for all ECUs across car line Implement symptom driven and guided diagnostics Implement context based service guidelines and integrate vehicle schematics and 3D models as part of application Diagnostic application licencing management and role management Partition of application between cloud and edge for efficient operation Integration of field data and enhancement of trouble shooting guideline in the tool chain based on AI ML Interface with Internal stakeholders e g Manufacturing Customer Support collect the requirement and implement in the tools appropriately and resolve issues during implementation and in use Contribute in development and enhancement of Generic ECU specific Diagnostic specifications EOL requirements SW Download specification ECU Fault Management specification ECU specific DTC DID List etc Study product plans Tech roadmaps regulations and benchmarking strategies for Diagnostics Provide input to relevant teams in advance to plan appropriate considerations in EE Architecture ECU and aggregate Design Plan Engineering activities for project delivery anticipate eventualities prepare for contingencies Provide inputs by study of product plans tech roadmaps regulations finalize specification recommend the infrastructure related roadmap for futuring as per regulation tech product plans of Diagnostics Tracking of current and future Legislative requirements and align actions related to Diagnostics Define Test Standards validation Strategy and align to the QCT of the projects Drive the Engineering development testing validation of the sub modules and EOL Service Flashing tools for diagnostics Interface with Engineer service providers 3rd party tool developers for development of technical solutions Budget management Team skill requirement identification and development Required Skills Strong Knowledge of Automotive Diagnostics protocols including UDS DOIP SOVD Should be familiar with diagnostics of Automotive ECUs for flashing Configuration Diagnostics etc over various protocols Strong Knowledge in application development multiple programming languages Java NET SQL etc development of micro services and maintenance of interfaces in server cloud Hands on experience in development and deployment of Tool chain for End of Line and After Sales and deployment at plants and dealerships Should have delivered atleast 2 projects in OEM environment Should be familiar with unit testing and black box testing of the tool Should be familiar with selection and validation of VCI Vehicle Communication Interface Should be familiar with Over the Air Flashing strategy Should be familiar with Cyber Security requirements related to Automotive Strong knowledge of CI CD and agile practices relates to Software development for Diagnostic application Detailed knowledge of Legislative and Regulatory Requirements like OBD I OBD II EOBD etc Experience of automotive communication and Diagnostic protocols CAN LIN KWP200 UDS etc Usage of communication tools CANoe CANalyzer Indigo V Flash CAN DIVA etc and diagnostic tools ODX Authoring tools Diagnostic test case generators and Vehicle diagnostic tools from Vector In2soft and Softing Working knowledge of the system and functionality in of various domains like power-train chassis body and infotainment vehicle E E architecture function partitioning testing and integration Experience in vehicle instrumentation for data logging and analysis
