Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for Associates at DS Advocates located in Chennai. The Associates will be responsible for performing various Indirect Tax related work (GST & Customs) including drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, and providing legal advice. The role also involves maintaining client relations, assisting in court proceedings, and ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

- Prior experience in handling GST compliance and advisory work (2-3 years)
- Prior experience in handling Customs advisory and department related work (2-3 years)
- Experience in Client Relations and Court Proceedings
- Knowledge of Indirect Tax laws
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
- Experience in the legal industry is a plus
- Qualification (CA./ Lawyer/ semi-qualified CA/ graduate)
