An Electrical Shift Incharge for a foundry plant is responsible for overseeing all electrical operations during their shift which includes managing the electrical maintenance team troubleshooting electrical equipment and ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of electrical systems like HT LT motors and VFDs Key duties involve performing preventive maintenance responding to breakdowns coordinating with other departments and maintaining detailed shift logs Core responsibilities Supervision and leadership Direct and supervise a team of electricians and technicians to ensure tasks are completed correctly and safely Electrical maintenance Perform routine inspections preventive and breakdown maintenance on all electrical machinery and equipment including HT LT systems VFDs and MCC panels Diagnose and repair electrical faults promptly Safety and compliance Ensure all electrical activities comply with safety regulations and standards Conduct safety and statutory inspections Coordination Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless operations Coordinate with other shifts to ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities Record keeping Maintain accurate logs and reports of all shift activities maintenance and incidents Prepare material indents for necessary electrical spares Operational efficiency Monitor energy usage and implement energy-saving measures Respond to emergencies and make quick informed decisions to maintain operations Required qualifications and skills Education Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is often required Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance with a preference for experience in heavy industry like a foundry or steel plant Technical skills Strong knowledge of electrical systems including HT LT VFDs and PLC systems Leadership skills Proven ability to lead mentor and manage a team Problem-solving skills Excellent decision-making and troubleshooting abilities especially in high-pressure situations JOB APPLY http jobs vinayakjob com CONTACT DETAILS - Name - NAMRATA Number - 91 91099 99660
