Job Description Key Responsibilities: - Strategic Sourcing & Category Management Define and execute category strategies for lithium cell raw materials and parts. Develop multi-year sourcing roadmaps aligned with volume forecasts and technology roadmaps. - Supplier Relationship & Development Identify, qualify, and manage suppliers in and outside India. Lead supplier performance programs (KPIs, quality audits, continuous improvement). - Cost & Contract Management Negotiate master agreements, frame contracts, and longterm pricing with key suppliers. Drive costdown initiatives through total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses. - Delivery & Payment Management Ensure the on-time delivery of raw materials for the continual production of the cell plant Tracing the finances for the on-time payment - Risk & Compliance Monitor geopolitical, trade-policy, critical mineral markets and implement mitigation plans. Ensure supplier adherence to corporate ethics, sustainability and quality standards. - CrossFunctional Leadership Collaborate with Engineering on design-to-cost and makevsbuy decisions. Partner with Quality to resolve supplierrelated issues and audits. - Team Leadership & Development Mentor and develop procurement professionals. Establish best practices, tools, and processes for category management. Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business or related field. Experience: -15+ years in strategic sourcing and procurement under a global supply chain environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. -Proven track record in the automotive or chemical industry. Expertise: -Deep understanding of the automotive or chemical supply chain -Strong negotiation, contract drafting, and stakeholder-management skills. -Analytical mindset with ability to leverage data (e.g., ERP/MRP, spend analytics) for decisionmaking. -Excellent communication and presentation skills, high flexibility working in a fast-changing situation -Collaborative leadership style with strong team-building capabilities.
