What you will do

-Continued Resolve stock low/out for raw materials. Adjust shipments to meet production requirements, escalate to relevant impacted parties ( production, regional advisors) Closely collaborate with others ( Production planning and scheduling, Manufacturing, Suppliers, Procurement) to ensure timely raw materials availability minimizing costs ( demurrage, surplus) AND stock reconciliation processes execution Work with suppliers (internal & external) on planned/unplanned disruptions and ensure availability for production and 3rd party sales Single point of contact for manufacturing plant during raw material supply disruptions and act on related mitigations Maintain raw material stock strategy and adjust planning system parameters in-line with demand/product changes. Maintain relevant costs information for regional optimization processes Work with Procurement and others to continuously improve cost of goods, cost, and/or reliability Point of contact for new or obsolete raw material including site approval and inventory depletion

About You

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Research (or related fields such as Applied Mathematics/Statistics) Minimum 3 years or more of experience post-secondary school graduation Proficiency with extracting information from ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) and utilize MS Excel to generate data insights Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in supply chain network or supplier management Experience supporting supply chain activities for large scale operations preferred (particularly in Oil & Gas and FMCG) Experience managing a supplier relationship supporting large-scale supply chain network Minimum 2 years' of experience supporting supply chain activities for large scale operations within the Oil & Gas/Consumer Packaged Goods/Fast-moving consumer goods industry Minimum 2 years' of experience with demand and/or supply and planning processes for either inbound materials or finished products
Experience managing/supporting large-scale supply chain network or relevant manufacturing

About You-Continued

Understand Supply Chain Fundamentals and Supply & Demand Principles Proficient in SAP Systems and MS Excel knowledge is critical Function effectively in a team environment, including virtual environments is critical Strong background in statistics and/or analytics Strong judgment, including ability to make quality decisions Strong persuasion / communication skills / influence without direct authority Experience in supply planning roles in Petrochemical, FMCG, CPG, Manufacturing (petrochemical), E -Commerce preferred
Experienced in petrochemical production/manufacturing process preferred Experienced in conducting analyses and providing data driven recommendations for S&OP processes Ability to work independently and without direct supervision Effectively interface with internal functions and external parties Experienced in conducting analyses and providing recommendations for supply planning problems using Proficiency with both spoken and written in English Strong and effective interpersonal skills

About You-Continued

SAP IBP/APO, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis Tableau and/or Power Bl for visualization Power Query, Excel Knowledge of R and/or Python for scripting is preferred Strong performer with ability to prioritize work strategically and independently while also functioning well within a global, virtual team Proven self-starter with strong collaboration and influence management skills; able to work effectively with all levels of the organization Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) Experienced in supplier management or with petrochemical manufacturing background Perseverant and resilient in the pursuit of objectives; willing to take on new challenges Improve mindset; able to anticipate future opportunities and adept at evaluating new opportunities objectively Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including conceptual capabilities Customer oriented mindset and focus
