Job Title Accountant Executive Department Finance Accounting Reports To Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager Location Prominance Corporate Head Office SF No 207 1 B 1 C Selakaraichal Road Appanaickenpatti Sulur Coimbatore Job Brief We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing essential accounting duties including maintaining financial records processing transactions and assisting with financial reports This entry-level role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations and offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth in the accounting field Key Responsibilities The Junior Accountant s responsibilities will include but are not limited to Daily Transaction Processing Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are accurately recorded Process invoices expense claims and payments Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Manage and reconcile the petty cash fund Reconciliation Reporting Perform bank and credit card reconciliations on a regular basis Assist in the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements e g Balance Sheets Income Statements Maintain the general ledger performing accurate and timely entries Month-End Year-End Support Assist the Senior Accountant Manager with the month-end and year-end closing processes Support the compilation of necessary documentation for internal and external audits Data Management Compliance Update financial data in accounting software and databases to ensure information is accurate and readily available Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and company policies Assist in calculating and filing relevant tax forms e g TDS GST VAT as applicable Other Duties Provide support to senior accounting staff on various projects as needed Organize and maintain physical and electronic financial records and documents Requirements and Qualifications Required Education Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field e g B Com Experience 1-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role internship experience is a plus Sandhya Nair Recruitment Manager Phone Number 7530086292 www prominance com I www homworks com Job Type Full-time Pay 10 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Health insurance Paid sick time Provident Fund Work Location In person
