We are doing urgent hiring for Delivery boy. Those who able to deliver the parcel to the customer.Ensure the orders are complete and delivered to recipients.Handle loading and unloading of items with care.Collect payments when required (COD)Key Responsibilities: 1. Parcel Delivery Pick up parcels from the designated warehouse, store, or hub. Deliver parcels accurately and on time to the customers’ addresses. Ensure parcels are handled carefully and delivered in good condition. Verify delivery information such as customer name, address, and parcel code before dispatch. 2. Customer Interaction Politely greet customers upon delivery. Collect customer signatures, OTPs (One Time Passwords), or other proof of delivery (POD). Answer basic customer queries related to the parcel if needed or redirect them to customer service. Ensure a courteous and respectful attitude during all customer interactions. 3. Route Planning Plan and follow the most efficient routes to maximize the number of successful deliveries. Use navigation tools like Google Maps or GPS devices for route guidance. Update the delivery status on the mobile app or delivery tracking system. 4. Parcel Handling & Safety Follow proper safety and handling procedures when loading, transporting, and delivering parcels. Ensure parcels are not damaged, lost, or misplaced during transit. Report any incidents such as vehicle issues, delivery delays, or accidents to the supervisor immediately. 5. Record Keeping and Reporting Maintain delivery logs, daily delivery counts, and feedback from customers. Submit proof of deliveries at the end of the shift to the supervisor or through the company app. Keep track of COD (Cash on Delivery) collections, if applicable, and submit payments responsibly. 6. Vehicle Maintenance  Ensure that the delivery vehicle (bike, scooter, or company van) is kept in good working condition. Perform basic checks like fuel level, tire pressure, lights, and brakes. Inform the supervisor of any maintenance or repair needs.Skills and Competencies: Technical/Functional Skills: Ability to use a smartphone and delivery apps. Basic knowledge of routes and navigation apps. Understanding of cash handling procedures (if COD applicable). Soft Skills: Good time management and punctuality. Responsible and trustworthy behavior. Friendly and professional attitude. Basic customer service and communication skills. Physical Fitness: Physically fit and able to lift or carry parcels up to a certain weight (usually 10–20 kg).
