DESCRIPTIONThe India and Emerging marketplace team builds products and services that solve unique customer needs for Amazon s fast growing marketplaces Our team is looking for highly motivated individuals to help deliver the next great innovations to reduce the core shopping experience latency for India and Emerging marketplace Customers This position is based in our Bangalore office About the team We are known as the International Emerging Stores IES Latency team Our mission is to disproportionately reduce latency for all emerging shoppers - EM5 IN AE SA BR MX EG AU SG TR bridge the gap with local Image Competitors ICs and bridge the gap with Best at Amazon BAA While our charter work backwards from the needs of emerging customer we continue to leverage WW platforms and look to improve overall product with foundational capabilities and improvements that are not only relevant in emerging stores but also for Amazon WW BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience - 5 years of programming with at least one software programming language experience - 5 years of leading design or architecture design patterns reliability and scaling of new and existing systems experience - Experience as a mentor tech lead or leading an engineering teamPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 5 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience - Bachelor s degree in computer science or equivalent - Experience working with iOS applications is preferred Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process including support for the interview or onboarding process please visit for more information If the country region you re applying in isn t listed please contact your Recruiting Partner
