Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Program Manager to lead and oversee multiple projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering complex programs on time, within scope, and within budget while ensuring alignment with strategic business goals. The Program Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, manage resources, and drive overall program success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership: Lead, plan, and execute programs consisting of multiple interrelated projects, ensuring that they align with the organizations strategic objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, project managers, and team members, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Project Oversight: Oversee project managers in the execution of their projects, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to best practices and company standards.
- Resource Management: Allocate and manage program resources effectively, including personnel, budget, and materials, to ensure successful delivery of program objectives.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues associated with program delivery, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure proactive communication with stakeholders.
- Performance Tracking: Define program metrics, monitor performance against established KPIs, and report on progress to senior leadership. Make data-driven decisions to enhance program outcomes.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate program performance and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and overall results.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive program documentation, including plans, reports, and communication materials, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the program lifecycle.
- Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to project managers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field;
- 15+ years of experience in program management or project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex programs.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)) are a plus.
- Familiarity with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements relevant to the organizations sector.
