product is packed within the product specifications within the shift To manage production costs by optimize productivity yield while utilizing the staff equipment in a safe effective and hygienic MANAGE THE KPI s OF SUBORDINATES o Performance of subordinates is achieved against their agreed KPI s o Performance appraisal are carried out once in year and quaertly review feedback o Full implementation of training development plan for all subordinates o Make sure all operators are well skilled as per their job description o Communicates with shop floor staff at all times reference performance out-put recognizing staffs achievements Keeps staff up to date with any changes to company procedures or policy o Identify own goals and individual KPI s and develop team and their individual capability Measure performance using organizational tools PEP through Success factor o Demonstrate open positive and constructive communication and enact McCain Foods Code of Conduct behaviors by providing support to all production department personnel in activities This is to improve teamwork motivation leadership and job specific knowledge on a routine basis as well as monthly and an annual review Measured through quick response and implementation of corrective actions and all Production people reaching required agreed targets o Do monthly recognition program in monthly review meeting to batter engagement and motivation of production people o Improve our voice survey results score year on year ENSURE EXECUTION OF THE PROCESS PACKING PLAN Global s o Meeting daily plan as per S OP o Ensure all areas are properly manned to meet operational requirements o All equipment is in good running order and set up to comply with the final product specifications with the help of CID CL TSU tools o Oversee that efficiency standards are maintained and subsequent planned production volumes are packed o Organize casual labour and maintain the effectiveness of personal in order to achieve the optimum labour utilization to complete packing schedule o Communicate packing out-put downtime or quality issues to the control room on an hourly basis o Maintain all BOP s related to process and packing MAINTENANCE GENERAL DUTIES o Coach team to comply all MDI tools like Handoff Huddle CID CL TSU DDS Power BI OEE and DH to ensure efficiency improvement o Assists with maintenance team during breakdowns o To perform any other reasonable work related tasks as instructed by line Manager MANAGE PRODUCT COSTS o Manage production reports on a daily basis ensuring yield labour and consumables are within budget and match the cost sheet o Control the process packing parameters in order to ensure the yield ratio between packings materials issued and finished products are packed within budget o Record all waste generated within the process packing area and investigate whenever excessive waste is found o Ensure all operation work procedures adhered to for optimal packing efficiencies yield o Educate and train employees to ensure they are fully aware of all standards required within the process packing area MANAGE PRODUCT QUALITY NPD HYGIENE o Communicate with the QC concerning corrective action reports related to quality problems that occur within the process packing area o Conduct daily Shift Sensory o Ensure operators are able to identify Food Safety and Quality risk through CID o All non-conformance product is identified recorded and reason for non-conformance been recorded o Customer complaints and restricted products are within the specified targets and ensure investigation along with CAPA implementation o Ensure proper execution of NPD New Product Development launched and all process conditions are noted and recorded o The production staff must turn out daily in clean uniforms and are presented tidy o All waste is disposed of in the correct containers and is removed emptied into the appropriate waste areas o Maintain GMP Global s ENSURE COMPLIANCE TO ALL STATUARY REQUIREMENTS AND MCCAIN POLICIES AND SYSTEMS o Full legal compliance to all relevant legislation o Full compliance with McCain policies and systems e g risk control o Full compliance with food safety standards o Operational Safety - i No loose wires or electrical panels are open to the environment Only engineers have access to electrical panels ii All floors are kept dry to minimize slips iii All staff in the packing area is wearing Personnel Protective Equipment PPE iv Train an update all staff in relation to all safety issues within the production area v Anticipates and identifies safety related problems takes corrective action to resolve the safety issue vi Carries out monthly safety inspection of the production area vii Every near miss and first add
