Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Trivandrum for an Underwriter. The Underwriter will be responsible for evaluating and assessing risks associated with insurance applications. Daily tasks will include analyzing detailed information, making decisions on policy coverage, and determining appropriate premium rates. The Underwriter will work closely with other team members to ensure accurate risk assessments and maintain compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications

- Risk assessment and decision-making skills in insurance underwriting
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in using underwriting software and tools
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field is preferred
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a plus
