Job Title: Business Development Manager Oil & Gas

Location: Faridabad

Reports to: Director of Business Development / General Manager

Department: Sales / Business Development

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth within the Oil & Gas sector. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and expanding the companys presence across upstream, midstream, or downstream markets. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the energy sector, strong commercial acumen, and a proven track record of closing deals.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Oil & Gas industry, including EPCs, IOCs, NOCs, and service providers.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and industry stakeholders.

Develop and execute strategic sales and business development plans to meet revenue and market share targets.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, pricing strategies, and growth areas.

Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and commercial offers tailored to client needs.

Lead contract negotiations and work closely with legal and commercial teams to finalize agreements.

Collaborate with internal teams (technical, operations, marketing) to ensure client requirements are met.

Represent the company at industry conferences, exhibitions, and networking events.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in engineering, Business, or a related field. (MBA or Masters degree is a plus.)

Minimum 58 years of business development experience in the Oil & Gas sector.

Strong understanding of exploration & production (E&P), drilling, refining, or oilfield services.

Proven experience in managing large accounts and high-value contract negotiations.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Willingness to travel frequently and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Existing network of contacts in the Oil & Gas industry (especially in [insert regions like Middle East, North America, West Africa, etc.]).

Experience with digital oilfield technologies, renewable integration, or energy transition strategies.

Understanding of tendering, bid preparation, and supply chain processes in Oil & Gas projects.
