Sr Analyst I Infrastructure Services

Key Responsibilities CMDB Management Maintenance Oversee the design implementation and continuous improvement of the ServiceNow CMDB Ensure the accuracy and completeness of CI Configuration Item data through audits and reconciliation Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards for CMDB Configuration Management Process Ownership Define and implement configuration management processes policies and procedures Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to align CMDB data with organizational needs Monitor and resolve issues related to CMDB performance and compliance Integration and Automation Lead integration of CMDB with other ITSM ITOM modules such as Incident Problem Change and Asset Management Develop and manage automation workflows to enhance CMDB data population and updates ServiceNow Expertise Leverage deep knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB architecture modules and capabilities Provide technical expertise in designing CMDB structures and service models Stay updated on ServiceNow platform enhancements and best practices Reporting and Insights Develop dashboards and reports to monitor CMDB health and usage metrics Provide insights to IT and business teams to drive improvements in IT operations and services Qualifications Education and Certifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field ServiceNow CMDB Micro-Certification mandatory ITIL Foundation Certification preferred Experience 10 years of overall IT experience with 4-5 years dedicated to CMDB management and configuration analysis Strong expertise in ServiceNow CMDB implementation and maintenance Proven track record in designing and implementing configuration management processes Technical Skills Proficiency in ServiceNow platform especially CMDB Discovery and ITOM modules Strong understanding of ITIL processes especially Configuration Asset and Change Management Hands-on experience with scripting languages and automation tools used in ServiceNow Experience integrating CMDB with monitoring event management and other IT tools Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment At DXC Technology we believe strong connections and community are key to our success Our work model prioritizes in-person collaboration while offering flexibility to support wellbeing productivity individual work styles and life circumstances We re committed to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive Recruitment fraud is a scheme in which fictitious job opportunities are offered to job seekers typically through online services such as false websites or through unsolicited emails claiming to be from the company These emails may request recipients to provide personal information or to make payments as part of their illegitimate recruiting process DXC does not make offers of employment via social media networks and DXC never asks for any money or payments from applicants at any point in the recruitment process nor ask a job seeker to purchase IT or other equipment on our behalf More information on employment scams is available
